I keep having to turn off Sky News on my Google news(?) feed as it absolutely drivel. Most of the items are right wing Youtube opinion pieces which apparently have a much greater market in the US than Australia …surprise, surprise! It’s Australia’s version of Fox News and a Murdoch gig.
I don’t know anyone that watches Sky News and that is supported by the latest Ipsos poll which shows it not rating in the Top 10 News sources. There are many problems with SkyNews, but the most irritating is that it’s fawning support for Trump is watched accidentally overseas and individuals can get the impression that Australians love Trump. Nothing could be further from the truth; it’s just Lachlan Murdoch that loves Trump. I am not even sure that Rupert likes Trump, I think he probably views him with as much enthusiasm as a plantar wart.
